Summer Market 2025
Despite the gloomy forecast and the torrential rain overnight, we were fortunate enough to have a truly wonderful summer market that ended with beautiful sunshine. We couldn’t be more grateful!
It was incredible to see the support from our lovely customers! Your friendly faces and kind words all round, was a true reminder of how special The Barrie Box community is. It turned out to be a wonderful family day out, with a steady flow of visitors making the market feel lively and welcoming. It wouldn’t be possible without you all. Thank you for braving the weather to make it a memorable day.

ICE CREAM DELIGHT

CREATING THE BARRIE BOX
For years, we have been selling our fresh Scottish berries directly from the farm gate to our local community. However, in 2020 we had to quickly adapt to ensure that we could continue to provide our fruit whilst keeping our workforce safe.
This led to the creation of The Barrie Box. Originally set up as an honesty box with fruit directly from our fields, we quickly expanded to incorporate other local fruit and veg. As the box became more popular, we added more products to it, including cakes and eggs.
As restrictions started to lift, we saw an uptake in those visiting and it became clear that we would need to expand The Barrie Box to meet the demand of visitors.
In April 2022 we proudly opened The Barrie Box Farm Shop. This expansion allowed for us to source more local and Scottish produce and marked the launch of our now-famous ice cream.
Two years later the Farm Shop continues to thrive. We have a wide range of products and remain committed to supporting local produces, sourcing the best of Scottish and British products.
Looking ahead, we are excited to announce another exciting development: further expansion of The Barrie Box and addition of a café and play area. We anticipate construction will start in the new year and we can’t wait to welcome to all once we reopen. Keep updated on The Barrie Box via our social media.
